She lived and studied at the yoga farm: an eco yoga project in sustainable permaculture. It was here, that she believes she truly discovered how good our bodies and mind are supposed to feel.
Tina further went on to study Embodied Flow in Bali studying under Tara Judelle and Scott Lyons. Embodied Flow is a system of transformational yoga that invites you into the deepest sense of self. Through an integrative blend of hatha yoga, somatics, mind-body centring, movement meditations, tantric philosophy, and science it elicits the experience of stepping into flow as meditation in action. The concept of FLOW remains one of Tina’s primary focuses in class.
Tina’s flow classes promote deep and even breathing whilst improving flexibility and strength and give you a greater sense of connection to all the body systems. Tina’s classes are a pure and healthy balance of fun, vitality and challenge with relaxation, healing and bliss.
Most recently Tina became interested in Aerial Yoga, firstly for it playful and strong practice but soon realised how much more accessible yoga poses and inversions were with the support of the hammock; making it an incredibly rewarding and rejuvenating practice. Keen to share her experience and knowledge with others Tina qualified in aerial yoga with local teacher Gillie Sutherland. She runs aerial yoga workshops, beginners courses, private sessions and weekly level 2 classes in Exeter.
Her Vinyasa flow classes take place every week at the Steiner Academy, The Ashtanga Yoga Workshop, The Health House and The Riverside Leisure Centre. Her flow classes are multi-level classes, appropriate for students of all levels of flexibility and fitness as she gives different options and variations in poses.
She is available for 1:1s, private classes, and corporate yoga.
